Worcester Location – I started going to the Worcester loacation for the last 4 months and thought is was a good deal for food, service and price. Last week I noticed that the menu changed and so did the quality of the food. I had surf and turf and suddenly I realized that I was now eating at a regular family resuartant. Lest just say that based on the quality of the food now, that they show lower their proces a bit. I would have rated it a B+ in the past but now its a C+.
Not a good first impression – Went to the Worcester location on Nov 11th for dinner. Walked in and the restaurant was empty and the hostess was walking away from her guest desk telling us she would be right back....the dinning area had make three tables seated. With my wife seated we ordered clams casino for starters. What arrived was astounding on the scale of being understated and small. There was more lettuce in the center of the "dinner plate" than clams casino. The pieces of bacon on the individual clam shells was large... read more
No Wonder Domino's Does So Well! – The lack of expeirence with seafood, whether it's in the preparation or consuming it, seems to be the problem with the review's on this establishment thus far. It's apparent that there is a lack of either with any positive review's about this restaurant. The atmosphere is outdated, the preparation is sub-par, and the constant odor of unkept fryolator grease in the air, is much too evident in this restaurant's atmopsphere, to have a satisfying dining experience. It's no wonder that the windo... read more
Worst Chowder – No way this place has good clam chowder! The rest of the menu was average at best. Don't waste your money here. Go to Legal Sea Foods for a great meal as well as great clam chowder.
Solid lunch choice – Seared tuna is nicely done. Steak sandwich could be a little bit better - just don't think the balance of acoutrements they use is quite right. Seafood gumbo and clam chowder are both well done. Fries are very good, crispy, not too heavy or greasy. Portions for lunch are the right size. Overall, the food part works out. The service is also excellent, and it's an attractive restaurant you can take a client to. You also get Upromise rewards points/Dining Network, whatever you in, which is plus.
Excellent Metrowest choice for Seafood – Great seafood spot in Metrowest. The menu items and nightly specials, both lunch and dinner, are always well prepared. For lunch, specific items are identified for their prep time so that you know you can be back to your day in a reasonable amount of time. My only complaint is that the service is sometimes spotty. After an excellent meal, be sure to pop into the wine shop right next store to stock up!
great seafood – i have been there several times and the food is super i highly recommend the surf & turf a big steak with baked scallops & shrimp
