My family and I had a terrible stay. Apartment 51, supposedly superior, was terribly dirty and dusty, to the point it made 2 of my family members sick. Lots of broken fixtures, poorly maintained and rundown throughout, furniture appeared to have been reclaimed from the local transfer station or hard rubbish. There may be nicer apartments in the complex but #51 was terrible and was supposed to be "superior", I'd hate to see the standard rooms.
The unit had been upgraded however the beds were uncomfortable, mattresses were cheap. I'm not sure how long since the floor had been cleaned but we had to wear thongs at all times We were on the 3rd floor with 37 steps to ground level and with 2 large suitcases for anyone it would have been a challenge and at our age after requesting ground floor we found it demanding. Reception staff were uncommunicative.
We loved staying here! Perfect location right across the road from gorgeous Trinity Beach. Our ground floor room was quiet and very well equipped with all our family needed for a comfortable 5 night stay. Staff were very friendly. We would definitely stay here again.
