Worse holiday experience in Cairns😡😡😡. Booked coral reef resort for 2 nights through bookings.com and when were checking in, no staff available to receive us. Take some time to call the property staff and found out that they cant accomodate us as they are full and didint received our booking. We booked and paid this accomodation 2 weeks ahead of time. Had a booking for 2 bedroom unit cancelled by Raymond at Coral Reef resort due to maintenance. Raymond failed to answer numerous messages sent over a week about refund. Had to lodge a complaint with airbnb, got the refund and still no communication from Raymond. For a company very poor service.
To be fair the actual complex apartments are fine,it's not a resort with minibar or room service,it suppose to be self contained units if they were to be kept clean but this just isn't the case there is no adequate cleaning standard,the bed's and furniture need replacing,the linen hasn't been washed,the mold is that black hazards mold in every corner the showers resemble a black and white checker board,as a perement resident I've heard more guests complaintaints than I could count from rusted pots no cutlery to soiled toilet... read more
Unacceptable. My family and I had booked for a single night in this resort several months in advance. Two weeks before our arrival they informed us that they had no rooms for us. What is their excuse? They only take reservations for one night... But we had only booked one night. They must practising overbooking. I don’t recommend.
