I don’t recommend building with Coral homes. Our house has had no progress for months - yet it’s so close to completion. Our bank and broker are confused about the lack of progress and it’s embarrassing and costly. The sales team were great - but it’s all a bit pointless if I’m stuck without a house to live in. We’ve raised the issues with supervisor and area manager and the state manager is aware of the progression rate. Went there to enter a contract to purchase a selected home ! Price increased dramatically ! Paid the requested deposit up front ! Notified a few months later that they did not want to proceed with the construction ! Used my deposit monies for soil test & contour plan ! Only received a minimum refund ! We built with Coral Homes in 2023 and overall, the experience was good. There were significant challenges during all stages of the build due to the knock on effects of the pandemic but Coral Homes dealt with them effectively and our home was built well. The design (a modified Monash) holds up and will be a timeless multi generational home well into the future.
I’LL NEVER BUILD WITH CORAL AGAIN I’ve had the worst experience building with Coral. My site supervisor (keep in mind he’s the 3rd supervisor in 6 months) is useless. No updates throughout the build whatsoever. Don’t answer his phone, don’t reply to emails. When we bring something to his attention his reply is: don’t worry, she’ll be alright and he doesn’t fix it (he’s probably wishing we forget before handover).
