I chose this place for bird watching as there appear to be views of Lake Wylie. Picnic tables, trails, board walk, and a building with water, baths, and restrooms exists but was not in use. I recorded several birds in one site as I walked onto the island. The views of the water could be enhanced with some serious pruning. There were no staff members on site anywhere. Some people were using the area as a dog walk.
