We recently took our puppy in to get neutered and we brought our own cone with us, which the clinic refused to use saying it was too small, and charged us for a nearly identically sized one. At the time, this wasn’t a big deal and we just cared about having the right size for our puppy. However, come to find out when we get home that he is able to easily reach and lick his incision with the cone they put on. The staff at Copperfield Vet was amazing when we had to say goodbye to our much loved girl. So patient with us and informative. I would highly recommend them to look after your precious pet.

EDIT: after looking at other reviews I see I’m not the first to be turned away in an emergency situation. I don’t care how good a vet is at giving vaccines or any regular checkup activity - any place that calls themselves a hospital and offers emergency services but REPEATEDLY REFUSES EMERGENCY PETS should be avoided at all costs. Do not give these people your money or trust them with your pets. TLDR: this vet turned away my actively dying cat despite being labelled an “emergency clinic” DO NOT GO HERE IN A REAL EMERGENCY. I'm not new to this vet clinic and have brought my girl there in the past when she was suffering from a horrible inner ear infection that caused vestibular syndrome. They also helped us with the cremation and memorial process when she suddenly passed a couple months later. I did feel exploited by them when trying to choose her memorial stuff as they wanted answers for everything right then and I was in shock and grieving heavily.
