BEWARE!!! I called Copper and Slate on the suggestion of a friend who had them do repairs to his slate roof. I had trouble finding a company that knows how to work on slate and so I was very much looking forward to getting in contact with them. A estimator named Kyle came to our house to look at our slate roof because it was in need of repair and he told us we either A. needed a new roof because the felt paper underlayment was peeling and there were leaks from broken/missing slate shingles or B. spend $20,000 in repairs. I engaged many companies to try and fix a slate roof at my property in Rochester NY. Copper and Slate ended up coming through and provided an excellent and timely repair, and also helped me coordinate some other work that needed to be done on the non-slate aspects. Chris specifically from the crew was very helpful and professional providing updates and photos. I am very satisfied with my experience and very grateful to them and Chris and his team specifically. This company was wonderful to deal with. We have a 100 year old green Spanish barrel tile roof and detached garage that they expertly did some tile repairs on. The office staff were so kind, helpful, and responsive. The crew did a phenomenal job and explained everything so thoroughly. These guys are the best and I wouldn’t hesitate to contact them again. The quality of work is top notch and the service and customer care is excellent.
