Established in 1883. Bisbee's first hospital was established in 1883 and went through many changes over the years. In 1961 Phelps Dodge opened the current site of the hospital today on Bisbee Rd. and Cole Ave. In 2012 Copper Queen Community Hospital completed an Emergency Department and Renovation Project of the current space, doubling in size. CQCH has also opened three rural health clinics to serve Cochise County over the years in Douglas, Bisbee and Palominas-Hereford.

Everyone was so incredibly nice! And had such a sense of urgency. I felt so taken care of.
Kudos and thank you to the Copper Queen ER staff on 12 /29/2024. I was treated with respect and kindness. From Francisco, who checked my vitals, the Dr, the RN, Ingrid from xray, and Jasmine....I felt cared about. Though I was feeling poorly, I left with a smile. Not only is the staff stellar, but the place is spotless! Thank you for such a positive experience on a lousy day
No waiting! In and out. The staff seemed to really care about what was going on and treating my problem. Very quick ER visit.
The doctor that was supposed to help me. was so rude to me barely gave me any information told me to take care of it myself and told me to leave. my throat is bloody and swollen I need medical attention!
Went in having problems breathing, head ache , and sourness all over. After they ran tests and did an ex-ray, I was told that they could find nothing wrong and was discharged. Two days later after finally finding a Doctor that wasn't booked solid, I was diagnosed with Influenza A. I can't remember ever being this sick. To say that I am not happy with my experience with this facility is an understatement.
