Disappointed and Frustrated with Recent Changes I joined the YMCA specifically for a weekly dance class that was held in a proper exercise room. Unfortunately, that room has now been converted into manager offices, and the class has been moved to the gymnasium—where half the court is still used for basketball during our session. I typically consider the YMCA a safe and consistent place to reset, especially during difficult seasons. But today’s experience at this location, which was my first time visiting this branch, was disappointing and unprofessional. When I stopped in to use the facility, I clearly stated that I have a nationwide membership. That information was either ignored or dismissed.
