Hard to explain how incredible the Coooperstown experience is when you have a kid playing there for a week but having the perfect place to stay with friends just makes it a home run. This place is spacious! big rooms, plenty of bathrooms, large kitchen table so you can all sit together. gas grill stove, massive deck with a gorgeous man made pond the kids can fish. Renter beware! Our family contacted Donna in June for a rental for our stay during our sons cooperstown week. We asked for the week of June 28-July 5th and Donna informed us that it was available for that week. She then wrote back saying they put in the wrong dates and the week I wanted was not available. The garden room at Arnold lake is the perfect place to stay for a relaxing, quiet Cooperstown experience. The room was perfect and had everything we needed. It is a country retreat and only 5 miles from Dreams Park. Very convenient location. Tammie and Leon, thanks for sharing your home with us for a wonderful week. June 1, 2018. The house we rented (Brunswick place) was falling apart and not kept up with at all! Things listed to be provided were broken and never fixed after contacting the owner. Donna was great to work with and seemed concerned but the owner of the house never took care of the issues. The garbage was over flowing when we got there and was disgusting and was not picked up until 6 days later. It states fully air conditioned but only has window units in the upstairs bedrooms, nothing on the main floor. We had other families book throug... read more
