Ordered the brisket plate. Came with 2 sides. I got the coleslaw and potato salad. The two sides were average. The brisket presentation looked good but the taste was SO DRY. I had to drink a whole glass of water to swallow the meat.
Hands down, my favorite BBQ. My family has been eating at the place in Llano for as long as it has been in business. We were very excited when the Katy location opened, and heartbroken when it closed. The drive to College Station is always worth it, but going back to Llano or going all the way to Junction still feels like a good road trip worth making.
Bbq very cold. Sides were terrible. Cream corn was hard. Greens beans were loaded with pepper. Pecan pie you can still taste the raw flour. Would never come back.
