Pecan cobbler was the best I’ve ever had!
It was pretty heavy on the salt; I couldn't eat the beans or brisket. But the other stuff I had was great, and the service was great!
I came here only once when they first opened in 2008. Coopers in Llano is some of my favorite BBQ. When I ordered brisket here, they asked if I want the beef cut, so they used an electric fish filet knife to cut it. I couldn’t see what he was doing. I got home and my brisket was cut in 1 inch cubes. Kinda like burnt ends but this wasn’t burnt ends, it was lean brisket meat. I was so angry they couldn’t slice the brisket I’ve never been back. Hopefully they learned since 2008 that cubed brisket is a failing score.
