Booked through the Coolabah Website and paid for a room. Upon arrival was told that it was a booking.com booking and they had no record. Showed the owner the booking and proved it was through the motels webpage. The owner was extremely rude and said he didn't care and they did not have a room, refused to refund on credit card. Townsville was booked out due to a Cowboys game and we had to return home that day to Cairns after driving down that morning for a soccer event for the kids. I've been residing here for quite sometime now with my Bff... But even though we would love to half our own apartment or house... We have made our room very comfortable and homey ... as we all know, a home is what you make it... And in saying this, The Motel is under near management and I will personally say that they are a Lovely Young couple and very friendly and helpful with whatever concerns... Be kind to all...
