New or Used compressor My airs condition stopped putting out cold air at the end of summer (07). Cool Heat replaced my compressor with a NEW one (so they say) they also replaced the drier, freon, and a few other things. Total cost to get air condition working was $691. 14 months later my air condition stopped putting out cold air. Again I took the car back to Cool Heat and again they told me I needed a new compressor, drier, plus a few other things. This time they wanted $670.
