Imnotsosure These reviews are almost funny. "Super fries!," "really yummy college atmosphere," "weekly drink specials and upcoming events??? Oh really? This doesn't read like random blogging to me... Are these really customer comments or paid staff hyping up a business.. hmmm, me thinks the later..
Cool Beans is for the college folks We had a few Coors Lites and listen to a local band. Very college atmosphere, very cheap of course it is a college town so it has to be. sit outside when it's cool as the humidity will melt ya.
Get a Baaaaaaaaaad Lieutenant while you're there! Seriously, this drink is heavenly. Although you may not remember the rest of the night. I didn't remember my entire 24th birthday because I kept coercing people to buy them for me. Oh, and I threw up on my shoes---while standing at the bar. And no one noticed so I had another Baaaaad Lieutenant! I don't drink so much anymore but I had some great times at Cool Beans!
Ultimate Dive You don't get dressed up to go to Cool Beans which is why I love it - it is the most honest bar I have ever been to. The employees are a fun and lively bunch, the drinks are literally the most reasonably priced that I have found anywhere in the WORLD (well, the US, Mexico, Canada, and some of Europe), and the food is badarse - with good options for carnivores and vegetarians alike. Cool college bar This is a cool college bar, kind of different looking. Lots of wood and two stories. On the weekends they have live music on the roof. It's small and packed, but the band I saw there rocked.
Great meal deal on Thursday This place makes some pretty yummy burgers. You get it with a drink and fries for like 2.50 on Thursdays. They have a couple of pool tables and a bar. Dirty little place but neat still the same.
