If you are looking a small locally owned shop this is your place! I worked directly with the owner who was very nice, honest and communicative. My bill ended up being less than he had originally quoted me and he could have charged me the higher amount and I wouldn’t ever known the difference. It’s difficult to find honesty in auto shops these days. The work was fast and great! Highly recommend!!
After looking at reviews determining that this guy might be legit I took my car here for a turbo boost problem. I can confirm that this guy either didn't look at my car or just flat out lied to me. I paid $145 to be told I need a new turbo which would cost $1,000 to install, or the veins needed to be cleaned. After getting it onto the lift myself it turned out to be the turbo actuator which is VERY common to fail in my model of car, TDI. Richard is the best mechanic for the VW TDi's.. He is the go too for help on the tdi forums and has great prices for repairs.
Richard is the guy you want working on your car. He did a manual swap on my 2001 Jetta TDI and the work was done so clean it feels factory. Everything works exactly like it should, right down to the cruise control, and I haven’t had a single issue with it since he did the swap over 10 years ago.
