I just called to ask if a particular doctor worked there because this was the location that popped up when I googled her. I asked the receptionist if the doctor worked there and she had a very rude and annoyed tone. I said very politely that I must have the wrong place and thanked her to which she said bye and hung up abruptly. No “have a nice day” or anything. She sounded very inconvenienced over a simple question.
My wife had tripped and fallen, injuring her shoulder, so we called to have our PCP at CRMC examine her shoulder (suspecting a fracture). I was told to take her to the ER. We instead went to Ascension St Thomas in Cookeville, where she was examined right away, had X-rays done, and they then called and got her examined by orthopedic doctor within two hours. In short, Ascension St Thomas provided real medical care - which is apparently lacking at CRMC. We stopped seeing our PCP at CRMC after this and will never go back.
Very friendly doctors and staff. Helpful and welcoming! I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a doctor for your family!!
