I had a 92 year-old friend over there and evidently they aren’t qualified to take care of his needs. They wanted him out of there. I cannot believe that they sent a Uber to pick him up and take him to another facility. I thought that was extremely cruel and lacked understanding of his Alzheimer’s and sundowners. he should have been treated with more respect than that.
Previously I wouldn’t recommend sending your loved one here after previous encounters but now they are doing great. There has been a change in most of the management. New unit managers are very attentive, my loved one is getting great wound care, and the DON and ADON seem to really care about patients and their care. Amy is always communicating things when it comes to the care plan meetings and the new social worker truly cares about the residents. I do not recommend the place because it is not well cleaned and has an odor. Some nurses don’t care to do their job properly or at all, and patients call light stays for 30 minutes or more. There are roaches, and patients' things get stolen as well.
Patients bathroom was very dirty, Patient was dirty and fecal matter under nails.
