I've been a customer of Cookbook since its early days, visiting once or twice a year and even ordering takeout throughout Covid. The food has always been consistently excellent, and I've recommended it to friends and family for years. I’m a regular because of the food, but be careful as they don’t always honor your reservations or try to make things right when they error.

We were looking forward to dining at Cookbook, but the entire experience was disappointing. The service was slow and inattentive, and the food fell well below expectations. Our order was wrong, items were left off, the caprese salad arrived without basil, the pancetta was nonexistent in the pasta sauce, and the mushroom ravioli came with a thin, runny cream sauce. Nice atmosphere after the sun sets. The Grand Pete salad had a nice dressing but it was tiny. The pizza was well cooked and had a nice consistency and crunch. The grey goose pasta was tasteless. Great service and live music.
