There is no builder out there that is perfect. I've owned many homes, from different builders and they all have issues to sort out. But, what makes the big difference is communication. Cook strives hard to communicate and work out issues. The Cook Team really cares and they are fair.

Just terrible all around. Don't buy a Cook home. I bought my home new and have only been in it about a year and a half. Within the first year, I've had so many issues and they just keep coming: 1. Leak from the upstairs shower into the downstairs shower 2. Mud in the water pipe that goes to the refrigerator. I had to replace the filter in the fridge because it was so full of mud. 2024 Update: They forgot to install an entire support beam. Haha! They called us to come out and resolve this issue- and I just had to laugh. We had cracks in the sheetrock already forming where the beam was missing in the basement. They filled the cracks but of course the new paint doesn't match the old. 2) Our address post is crumbling- as are many in the neighborhood. 3) The closet company that installed the crashed shelves took full blame that they fell, even though Cooks denied claim. They didn't hit studs during instal... read more
