We eat at Cookout in Starkville an average od about once a week. We have noticed the service lately is not as good as it usually is but the WORST thing we have ever seen happened in July 22, 2025-to the point I called the health inspector. After we sat down to wait for our food we noticed that the girl taking our order didn't have on any shoes (we could see her bright green socks under the counter from the booth we sat at). Waited at an empty counter for 10 minutes got asked if I had ordered yet, told them no. He asked what I wanted and after I started placing my order someone walked in and the cashier started talking to them and took their order. And acted like I wasn't here.
Good food, but one of the employees was completely barefoot in the kitchen.
They will 7 out of 10 times forget something but wont give you a problem with getting it love this place best food best prices
