**UPDATE: BREAKS my heart to write this and watch a place I used to love fall apart like this. The people inside are nice enough if you walk in, but the drive-thru — NEEDS a broom. To make matters worse, Cook Out replied asking me to call, but no one ever answers the phone. Working in customer service myself, I live by a simple rule: you answer promptly, don't let the phone ring endlessly, and always follow up with people. I used to love this location when it first opened, but it has really gone downhill. The food is horrible now, though the shakes are OK. My biggest issue is the atmosphere: the parking lot has turned into an unfriendly hangout with kids revving their souped-up engines and trash scattered everywhere. It’s reached the point where the noise must be unbearable for the neighborhood behind the restaurant- It’s definitely nothing to write home about anymore.
