I have been to Cook Family Dentistry (2) times now and I have loved it!!! The best part is hands down Caitlyn my hygienist!! She is gentle, caring, kind, and does a very good job of explaining what she is doing as she is doing it! She is very patient if you are a gagger when it comes to X-rays! Also, Dr. Wolfe is very knowledgeable and kind!
Our experience with Dr. Wolfe was deeply troubling. My daughter was scheduled for a wisdom tooth extraction (which should have been immediately referred to an oral surgeon), and while complications can occur, the care she received fell far below professional standards. After more than 30 minutes of unsuccessful attempts, she was left with severe gum trauma, significant swelling, and extreme pain. Front desk told me to tell dentist to shave down my mamelons. Dentist took half of ONE tooth off and nothing else. For the rest of my life I have to have part of one of my front teeth filled with a matching color because one of Cook's dentists decided NOT to shave mamelons but instead take half my tooth from me. Thanks!!
