Very unprofessional. Receptionist is not well trained to be working at a counseling center. Councilor was just using the VT website to find resources, which I could have done on my own. Will not be returning, do not recommend at all.
A joke. I have been on a medication for 10 years and started making appointments to get a refill about a month ago. I have now run out of my medication because I had to make FIVE appointments to see a doctor. This puts me in a really bad place and is not appropriate patient care. I even had to reach out to THEM for the 4th appointment, despite being told they would call me. If you can afford other options I would never ever recommend going here if you need any real help. Needs to be shut down! Access and Connect are quick, efficient, and caring. This place is a joke! If you are struggling with your mental health go to Radford hospital not Blacksburg because this group is reckless, careless, and completely misinformed!
Another reviewer said it best: this is just a place for psych students to get practice. If you have serious mental struggles then I strongly suggest you find an outside professional. This place is only good for people who just need to vent about day to day things. Also, don’t expect to have that many appointments.
