My wife was seeing an therapist doing EMDR. While on vacation, she was notified that my therapist is no longer working there. They said they had another therapist that offers EMDR, however only online. EMDR is non effective online. After putting her trust and making headway, starting over is horrible.Also the doctor is joke. The doctor was not helpful and I felt belittled of her issues.
Miranda was my therapist but respectfully, she soured my experience with returning to therapy after a years-long pause. I did take a lot of what I learned from her and applied it moving forward, which I'm still grateful for. I stopped going completely after CC&C migrated platforms and didn't assist me with getting into the new one, followed by charging me $100 for being late while figuring out how to get into the system on my own. I had a really good experience with Cook Counseling and Consulting, Inc. The staff are super friendly and easy to talk to. They really listen and give helpful advice without making you feel judged. I'd totally recommend them if you’re going through something or just need someone to talk to.
