The reason for the one star is just for the scheduling person Julie. She is awful and rude. I cancelled my appointment with cook children’s and going somewhere else now.. thanks to her I’m thankful to have found a better urologist doctor to go to with amazing front office staff! Also thought it was very dumb that they don’t schedule ultrasounds first, she said the doctor has to see my son first. My daughter has waited four months to be seen by a urologist. Our appointment was scheduled for this Friday, October 10th. Today, October 6th, I received a call informing me that the appointment is canceled because the provider will not be in the office. When I asked how soon we could be rescheduled, I was told the next available appointment is in December. This is unacceptable. We have waited patiently for months, and this delay directly affects my daughter’s health and well-being.
I waited 3 months to get my 1st daughter seen for an appointment, for them to call me week prior and tell me the doctor is not in office that day and they have to reschedule me.... another 2-3 months out. They also refused to let BOTH my daughters be seen on the same day. All of this is after 6 months of trying to even get ahold of them in the first place for my referral. Arrived for an 8am appointment more than a week out from the referral date, was told they had no data from prior imaging and couldn't advise anything really. And yes, I signed release forms weeks prior at imaging center to prepare for this appt. Dr advised that the info the office received was a vague summary from the PCP referral and "kind of ominous".
