If your kid needs stitches don’t waste valuable time here. A three stitch closure turned into a 7 hour ordeal. After 90 minutes at this facility, with the majority being wait time, we were told to go downtown to Cooks ER. My kid who didn’t need restraining at the ER for stitches was apparently too much for them to handle at urgent care. His medical record was documented saying he was yelling, thrashing, and kicking. Maddi’s fun and calming nature put this over analytical momma bear right at ease.
I had an extremely disappointing experience and would strongly advise against bringing children here. This facility is in urgent need of more competent doctors and nurses—ones who genuinely listen to their patients. Overall, the organization appears to be poorly managed and disorganized.
SAVE THE HIGH COPAY/FEE TO SEE A DOCTOR HERE! They don't diagnose correctly!! This place need better doctors or ones who actually listen to the patients/patents ..... My 3 yr old grandson was seen here October 13 because he'd had fever every day since October 10 with green mucus and it had turned I into a cough. I strongly advise against bringing your children to this facility. We waited for approximately one hour in the waiting area and an additional 80 minutes inside the orthopedic room for urgent care services, without receiving any assistance during that time. Out of concern, I opened the door to check if anyone was coming and noticed an employee, Rosa J., standing outside our room (Ortho 8) using her phone.
