Our 24-month-old son had a scheduled 7:00am upper GI study this morning. We drove 1.5 hours and followed instructions to fast after midnight, but were given no additional information about what to expect, where to park, or where the imaging suite was located. We arrived on time and still waited over 30 minutes to be taken back, despite our toddler being visibly distressed and crying from hunger. Negligent behavior towards my 2 year old. Stay away from this place and stay further away from the swallow study team. No grace. No understanding. Only wants your money. Originally quoted $360 for a test. When I call to do a payment plan, they then Quoted me over a grand for a test my son desperately needs, told me they can’t work with me with the amount and demanded $500 to even do the test, even with insurance. Registration for this department is very unprofessional and disorganized. No care for patient's well being at all.
