My son came in with respiratory problems. We ended up being admitted for observation. The whole experience was fantastic. First time in a children's hospital and I was blown away by the quality of care my son and even my family recieved. I want to give a special shout out to our first respiratory specialist who gave my son his breathing treatment. She is an amazing lady and a very kind heart. I absolutely love this hospital and the staff . I have older kids, and my oldest daughter is 24 . I was bringing her here from age 1 until she was 13 for her seizures . Sometimes, her seizures were not always controlled by her medication . We would be in the emergency room . I now bring my 3 yr old son . It is and has always been so clean and super nice staff . I love how they now bring a toy cart around in the emergency room for the kids to pick a toy or 2 . My son loved that ! It calmed him down and he was so excited
Brought my infant here & we have been waiting for almost 5 hours to be seen! It's almost 5am on Sunday, so we don't have many other options. Idk what the deal is with this emergency department, but this cannot be normal. I will drive to Dallas in the future, because this wait time is absolutely ridiculous. I would like to edit that after being seen. The DR was absolutely great & really listened to our concerns.
My son had an allergic reaction to peanuts, and the staff was wonderful! Everyone from the receptionist, nurses, doctors, pharmacist, billing, was wonderful to us. They were so helpful and sprang into action as soon as we walked in the door! Thank you so much!!!
