Brought my kiddo due to breathing issues. I was super worried because there was a lot of people waiting. But after communicating to the staff that this seemed urgent they were able to attend us sooner. Very greatful for their patience & genuine care for my babies. We’ve been here multiple times & although the wait can be long at times I am greatful for the care they have given my kids.
Don't take your Autistic Children here. They will ask you if you want them evaluated by psych. If you say no, and your child presents himself as a danger to himself or others, they will call CPS. If you disagree with the psychiatrist they will call CPS. Tonight was the most disappointing of all because my nonverbal son was having SEVERE headaches since 2:30 PM. I brought my 6-year-old son to the Emergency Room at Cook Children’s because he was only fever. We waited for 7 hours, which was extremely time-consuming and frustrating. Because of this long wait, I missed all of my scheduled plans. This was a very disappointing experience, and I will not be coming back here again
