We had a great meal, ordered the chef's choice with wine pairing. The bresaola to start was fantastic with fresh bright ingredients and the orange wine was fantastic. The gnocchi with black truffle is probably the best pasta dish I've had since Italy. The wine selection was amazing and we got 6 bottles to go from Guiseppe's selections. Fantastic meal for travellers in town for the weekend, better than any Italian we've had in Charlotte.

Delicious dishes and deserts, great customer service, and atmosphere.
I visited Convivio for the first time last night (a Friday night) and was blown away. The food was authentic. The gnocchi was melt in your mouth. The chef came to greet us. The server, Rebecca, was attentive and personable. Food was portioned exactly how it would be in Italy (not typical American huge portions). The price reflects the quality and time it takes to make handmade pasta every day. I will definitely be back!
Just ate here for the first time last night and the food and atmosphere were wonderful. It's a Durham/warehousy vibe in a cozy space, but feels upscale. We had the burrata, pizza, and MP truffle dish, and we had the red wine flight. All of it was delicious. Free public parking is only a block away. We will be back!
