Our company needed to travel to the Mammoth area to address some wild for cleaning services on short notice. We contacted Convict Lake Resort to inquire about lodgings. They were able to accommodate our 13 person crews with a large cabin and two smaller cabins. Our crews were treated to a world class dinner, amazing accomidations and some of the most beautiful scenery most of then have ever seen. I can't recommend Convict Lake Resorts enough to do it justice.
Convict Lake Resort was absolutely wonderful. The cabins were beautiful. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and very helpful. The cabin I stayed in was pet friendly, clean, well maintained, and equipped with everything you would need (stove, fridge, pots and pans, plates, etc).The shower had excellent water pressure, which was a pleasant surprise, and the bed and pillows were very comfortable, making it easy to relax after a day outdoors. I highly recommend dining at this restaurant. The atmosphere, food, and service were exceptional. Kurt was our server, and he was fabulous—offering thoughtful, positive recommendations on the menu that truly enhanced our experience.
Get the Beef Wellington! Elijah is the best server by far. Always a great experience. Highly recommend.
Apparently there’s only a one hour window to check in while any staff are around in winter. General store closes at 4pm, which is not what their website or voicemail says. Door code they left me didn’t work. After hours phone number goes to some terrible answering service. Luckily one guy was still around on the grounds, seeming like he’s picking up the slack for five other people. Cabin is nice enough, but the terrible bed just ruins it.
