Convention Center Inn is or was a nice place to stay. Oct. 10,2009 For 4 years now My husband and I have stayed in the Convention Center Inn in Powderly, Ky along with many of our relatives. We have a family reunion in Greenville every year. I love the location and the people there are great but for the past 3 years every room we have has been going down hill a little more every year. Great stay in a rural area I have been visiting relatives in this area of Kentucky for years but only recently had to find a hotel due to too many relatives and not enough rooms at their homes. We looked at the few hotels in the area and the Convention Center Inn was heads and tails above the rest as far as price, cleanliness and an outstanding staff. I will be staying there again on future visits.
OK to stay. Since you're in a small town, I wouldn't expect anything fancy. That's what Convention Center Inn is.. nothing fancy, but clean and quiet. The staff is friendly too.
