I had a very good experience at ConvenientMD in Belfast. Every staff member was welcoming and personable. The appointment was not rushed. I was given thorough explanations and answers to my questions. My care was competent and professional. The wait time was long but I happened to go at a busy time. I received detailed handouts about my condition and aftercare.
I’m disappointed with the lack of transparency and follow-up regarding billing. Before my visit, I confirmed multiple times that the total cost would not exceed $250 without insurance, or that I’d only owe my $100 urgent care copay if insurance applied. At the appointment, I was told my insurance was accepted and paid the $100 copay. It’s easy to get in and out. Expenses are clearly communicated without a fuss. Knowledgeable staff and courteous. Not rushed.
This place is like a fast food restaurant. If you ask for something that isn't specifically in their menu they get all confused and tell you they can't do it. I was having Labs paid for by a third party and they were still trying to charge me with my credit card. They did the same to my wife. I finally stopped taking my Labs there. Was seen quickly. Needed a tick removed for my daughter as it was somewhat embedded. They didnt clean the area after the tick was removed.
