Went to this urgent care for a tick bite/fever/headache. They spent 5 mins talking to me about symptoms and told me they do not think it was lime disease but gave me a single dose of Doxycycline “just in case”. The bill came back to the insurance as over $400 for the 15 minute visit. Do not go to this urgent care. Period.
This place should be called” Sometime Today Care” & definitely not “urgent care” Made an appointment and still takes 2hours with only 3 people were in the waiting room.
The front desk folks were the only nice people in the clinic. The nurse was very curt and did not make any eye contact. Maybe she was having a rough day, but, who knows. The provider seemed agitated and was very dismissive, and looked at me like I was insane when I shared how much pain i’ve been in. yikes.
I was there for almost 3 hours. The majority of that time was in the exam room. There was only one other patient in there at the same time as me and the entire time I was there I could hear the staff talking about patients through the door, it was extremely unprofessional. There was no effort at all to help with the obvious discomfort that I was in. The majority of the staff seemed like they didn’t want to be there and were inconvenienced by patients.
