Convenient Food Mart

Stopped by Convenient Food Mart in Shelbyville and decided to try their Reuben. It was actually pretty good and definitely better than I expected from a little convenience store! The service was friendly and everything was handled quickly. It’s also just a neat little place with an interesting setup. You don’t necessarily expect to find a decent Reuben inside a convenience store, but here we are! 😂 Overall, I had a good experience and would definitely stop back in if I’m in the area again.

Came by to try their food but it was already closed. I went to grab some potato salad and macaroni salad, no dates or times. No clue when it was made, so I passed. Went to the counter and saw some sandwiches but nothing labeled there either. Asked the guy when it was made, he had no clue. It was 3pm and there was still breakfast in the case.🤢 We looked at soft serve too but the area was so dirty, we changed our mind. Typical gas station vibes. Had high hopes seeing their tiktok.
