I put in a request for help with yellowjackets, and a person came to manage them at my house the next day! I didn’t realize this was a service CCMVC offered- I was looking for pest control regarding mice. They offered to give advice for rodents too, but I already had another person out there at the same time haha. Anyway they said to let them know if I continue to have issues with this hive, and they’ll come back out.

I was pleased with the timely response to my call to the county mosquito and vector control regarding a yellow jacket nest in my backyard. Josefa C. arrived as scheduled and immediately found the bees and treated the area. Thank you for this valuable service and for having a competent and pleasant person working for the department.

I had the pleasure of working with Chris Doll from the district, and I couldn’t be more grateful. He’s incredibly knowledgeable, punctual, and an expert in his field. He helped resolve my yellowjacket issues in both the backyard and front yard, and also provided excellent guidance on controlling rats, mice, and bats around the house. Chris gave me invaluable advice on prevention and management, and I couldn’t recommend him more highly.

Wow! I was impressed with the fast service. I called this morning and by noon he was here when the website said it could be up to 5 days. Patrick took care of the yellowjacket ground nest right away and was friendly, kind and efficient. Hopefully that will take care of it but if not I can call again in a week and he will return! These days there is no service like this!
