The Jamestown Post Office is closing, therefore I have numerous individuals/businesses to contact with my new Post Office information. Everyone I have contacted was willing to take a change of address over the phone, except Continental Divide Electric.
Utilities rarely get any positive attention, and as an electrical industry professional I hope the people of Gallup/Grants and surrounding County areas get to see this particular information. CDEC just experienced a major service disruption in the area north of Gallup affecting over 2600 service points (generally defined as households and businesses). This is indicative of a major hardware failure; however, and much to my surprise, CDEC had crews available and onsite and power was restored in astonishing short order. By my o... read more
