Andy is a bike repair wizard, he took a beat up POS I bought on EBay and turned it into a very good bike. I hope Contes can keep him, I am a customer for life.
Went for help with my Bike seat and the tech used his Allen wrench and told me The seat was broke and I need a new one....brought it right on the spot asked him to finish taking the old seat off so I can put in the new one...I can’t he stated store policy....then I said can I use the tool So I can completed it...i’m not allowed he said...well you won’t have to worry about getting anymore coins out of me....I’ll never go back!!
Super disappointed in the customer service. Didn’t even make it to the back of the store before we were rudely asked what we needed, because he wanted to “limit wandering”, definitely won’t be returning.

Tonight i took my Hardtail into the local shop to see about a trade in and a payment plan for a new bike. Not only did the staff take their time helping me, but they made sure the new bike was adjusted properly and even made sure i was comfortable along the way. They had me ride it around the lot and adjusted the slack to my liking. the Staff answered all my questions and even helped others why dealing with me. I really do like the shop and ensure that anyone else can be happy coming to them. Thank you Contes ✊💪
We were in town (Smithfield VA) for Pedal for the Pig - our bike rack got hit by a car en route. These guys went above and beyond to get us fixed up & able to ride. *super* friendly knowledgeable folks. If we lived closer they would be my go to shop. *Thank you* :)

I purchased a pair of shoes for spinning yesterday and the service was above and beyond! The cleats were placed perfectly, not too far forward, not too far back. My ride this morning was GREAT! I recommend Conte’s to anyone looking for spinning shoes. You will be very pleased!
