What started off as a good experience quickly became watered down. Dr. Layne started off strong when I first established care with her. As time passed and I was expecting my baby, there was MORE than 5 occasions where I was waiting more than 30 Minutes in an exam room at her establishment. My time is precious too. I cannot recommend this provider. While she was polite, she did very little during my visit. What really disappointed me was being sent for an ovarian ultrasound and then told I would need to schedule another appointment just to receive the results, instead of a simple phone call. My insurance was already billed for the reading and diagnosis of the ultrasound, yet I was expected to pay for another visit solely to have her read me what the radiologist had already reported. Never received an important call back from them, even though I reminded.
I usually have a lot of anxiety when it comes to doctors, but Dr. Layne has been exceptional in removing that fear. From the very first appointment to the delivery of my baby, she made me feel comfortable, heard, and well-cared for. Her calm demeanor and professionalism created a trusting environment, and she always took the time to explain things thoroughly and answer all my questions. Dr. Layne delivered my first child back in August 2023. I have nothing but AMAZING things to say about her. She was kind, patient, and extremely knowledgeable. Especially as a first time mom, she ensured that I was properly informed on next steps throughout my entire pregnancy. As well as cognizant and proactive to any potential hiccups that could occur.
