I can say that I have been grinning for the last two weeks, more than I have for years. My new teeth are perfect, and thanks to the experience and attention to detail that Dr. Shannard brings. She and her team are wonderful, huge shout out to Marie, Delaney, Sara and Kathy. Oops, let us not forget the nicest golden doodle of all time. THANK you, team!!

For me, Dr. Shanard did things I would do for my own patients (I’m an RN): she leaves the numbing agent (lidocaine gel), in this case, on the gums, long enough to numb them up (do it’s job) before she sticks the (rest of the anesthetic) needle into the gums. She explains everything. She asks how you’re doing in the middle of the procedure. She makes sure you can swallow, and that you practice a few swallows when there is a rubber dam placement attached to your teeth. I’ve been visiting the Contemporary Dental Arts and Dr. Shanard since I was a little kid. They have always been so nice and kind throughout every cleaning and filling, and there’s a super friendly and cute dog to greet you!
