Normajean worked with me at various times in my journey (We met when I was in my forties, I am now in my 70’s). Dr. C. has been super helpful in supporting me as a caregiver for my older adult parents. As I go through the stages of my parents needing my emotional and practical support, it is helpful to bounce ideas off her. She validates my feelings and provides new insights into my role as a daughter and a caregiver. Highly recommend Dr. C to anyone navigating the sandwich caregiver journey.
Dr C really listened to us regarding what support we needed and what communication and partnership skills we wanted to improve. She is easy to talk to and understands the perspective of those who have served in the military -- that isn't always easy to find in the NYC area. Both in-person and virtual meetings have been very helpful. The NYC office is pleasant and serene, and the software for virtual meetings was easy to use.
I am grateful to have found Dr. Cefarelli who has become an essential and wonderful support during life challenges. I look forward to our sessions knowing I can express myself freely; Dr Cefarelli's warmth and empathy have helped me find peace from my overthinking brain, in a safe environment.
