Conte Di Savoia makes a damn good sandwich in very little time. The way the sandwich architects behind the deli counter move in a beautifully poetic ebb and flow with each other is utterly breathtaking to watch. It’s worth the trip. Oh yeah and they also have fine Italian imported meats, cheeses, wines, and everything in between that your nonna would’ve had in her pantry. $22 for a very mid Italian sandwich. Prices on their website are not up to date. The roll it was served on was particularly bad
UPDATE: AS many times as we have been to your establishment after coming from SCHAUMBURG to UIC Hospital Transplant Center every 3 months, I was so disappointed yesterday, Tuesday, September 22nd at approximately 3:00 PM. My wife absolutely loved her Turkey Panini!! However, my 12" meatball sub was a complete farce!! The meatballs tasted fantastic, but only 4 meatballs on a 12" sub, VERY VERY LITTLE eggplant, and the same goes for hot giardinera, and mozzarella cheese. For a $19 sandwich this was a ripoff!!
