I’ve been with consumers credit union for 2 years and this has been a headache from the start. Nothing like being charged 5 payments of $528 back to back in one week. Then returning the payments sporadically(all) then telling me they kept one for March so I wasn’t behind to only find out may 29th that my loan is in collections. I’ve been a member of Consumers Credit Union for the past 20 years, back when it was known as Motorola Credit Union, and I couldn’t be happier with my experience. While they may not always be the fastest to respond, they’ve consistently proven to be an honest and trustworthy institution—and that matters most to me.
I've been banking with Consumers for over 15 years but the staff is as unhelpful as can possibly be. Anytime you get a person involved, expect there to be multiple screw ups with no communication. Was told I needed to go to the branch to get a new card where they said they don't issue new cards in the branch. The staff at this particular branch decided to be rude and snippy and act like I was the problem when I was simply following their instructions. Literally 100 other banks/credit unions you can use. Don't waste your time
Got my first car loan through them and they lost my original title this place is a joke and they want me to pay the dmv 50$ for the original and they can’t pay it even though they lost it this place is a JOKE!
Poor communication. For an establishment of this kind, the level of customer service should meet higher standards.
