I visited the French Road location with my 21-year-old daughter and was refused a sale because she didn’t have her ID, even though I was the purchaser. We went home to get her ID and returned, but the second interaction was even worse. When I asked for clarification, staff repeatedly said it was “NYS law” requiring her ID. That is not accurate — many stores (including Wegmans and Tops) only require ID from the purchaser.
