I have had 3 loans with them, always paid, most paid off early. I recently took a small loan, My payment was due 9/15/21. I am now 3 weeks late. 2 weeks ago, they called me and I informed them I had covid and was unable to leave house till retest on 10/1/21. I received the most horriffic , threatening, condescending , bullying phone call of my life. Mind you, this is a 60.00 payment, not 500.00! I looked back over our call records and found the associate that Donna spoke with and in all honesty, she did confirm that the conversation did not go well at all. Horrible record keeping and attitude. Spoke with Jay who claims I did not make my payment which I did. I've been told in the past by Michelle that they didn't pull the Western Union information when this happened in March. This apparently happened again and I was told if I don't want the phone calls then call in with the information. Why should I need to make an extra call to ensure they have my payments. We apologize for this customers inconvenience but, she asks why she should have to call to inform us that her payment has been made. That is because she uses an outside company (Western Union) to transmit her payments and we have No control of what happens once the payment is input into their system. Contrary to her statement though, we do check Western Union for customer payments, everyday without fail but, there are at least 15 different Consumer Financial Services in that system and the payments don't always get listed un... read more
Needed to get a copy of a gap policy to file a gap claim and the employee in the office stated they did not keep copies of paperwork on file. I happen to know it is a federal requirement to keep copies on file for 7 years so why they do not have my paperwork on file or cannot give me copies is beyond me.
