My procedure was easy. Phenomenal nurses, excellent bedside services, very quick and painless start to finish.
It’s not easy to call them & schedule appointments. The people who answer the phone can’t understand anything. I needed an appointment in LEX w/ my doctor & they gave me an appointment in WC w/ someone else for no apparent reason w/o even telling me! I didn’t find out the mistake until it was almost time for my appointment after waiting weeks when I signed up for patient portal. What would have happened if I went to the wrong place? Being a recovery room nurse I know dehydration. Unfortunately, the day before the scheduled colon prep I ate something that disagreed with my stomach and spent the night up with diarrhea. Then the following day I had to start the prep. I explained this to them and asked for IV fluids by the time I got home my heart continued to race at 120-130 beats per minute for hours.
