We've hired Constructive Improvements for multiple projects around the house. It is our first home and Phil has been generous and kind in helping us create our happy place. 5 stars for Phil and Constructive Improvements. My block & mortar chimney (and skylights) needed some attention after water leaked into the house following heavy rains. Chimney-centric contractors I spoke with all proposed a full rebuild of the chimney for approx. $30k. Phil came up with a more creative and economical solution to problem, saving my house while saving me $20k in the process. Constructive Improvements did an excellent job remodeling our primary bathroom. They took the time to make everything right and cleaned up afterwards every day. We will definitely be having them back for our next project since I know it will be done properly.
We’ve only just begun our journey using Constructive Improvements & already feel in good hands. Simply called for an estimate, not only were they communicative & prompt about coming out but they were honest & educational about the different ways to approach each project to cater specifically to our circumstances. Honest, thorough companies are hard to come by nowadays.
These guys are excellent. Extremely high quality workmanship. Advice was sound, estimate was reasonable and did not stray. I had a rotted joist problem caused by a faulty installation of a deck many years ago. They had the problem diagnosed in minutes and fixed the problem the next day by replacing the rotted joist and adjacent boards. I will be using them for a couple repairs and a new deck asap. I would highly recommend them based on my direct experience and those of others I researched.
