Never got a call back. Nor did anyone answer the phones.
We called Joe from Consider it Done Handyman Services on 1/13/2020 to come over & give us a quote on a few upgrades we wanted done to our trailer in a 55+ Community. He was polite on the phone and sounded very genuine. He came over, we were pleased with his demeanour & the quote he gave us was acceptable. So we hired him, he said he could do the work for us at the end of the week. He gave us a material list and said he would want 50% or $450 as a down payment. Joe was supposed to come out Saturday morning at 8am but that time came and went. I reached out to him and he stated that there was a mess up with the schedule and they had me down for Monday. I told him to just let me know if he could come later in the day on Saturday but I never heard back from him and he hasn't reached out on Monday either when I was supposedly scheduled either. It just would have been nice if there was at least some communication saying sorry I can't make it rather than saying nothing at all.
Really honest people and good guys
This seems to be a new trend! But at least we didn’t give him money. Joe was supposed to be at our home yesterday morning. After trying to get a hold of him a few times he finally responded late that afternoon that he had an emergency with his mom but that he’d be at our home soon. He never showed leaving us in a really tight spot. If you can’t make it, cool. But communication is key!!!
