Our rabbit was having seizure like episodes, vet diagnosed her with E Cuniculi. Told us there was nothing they could do and sent us home with pain meds. Followed up with primary vet the following day (symptoms worsened over night). Primary vet informed us there was medication for this type of parasite and many rabbits do great with it- although not all. Over a month later- our bunny is doing wonderful! My wife took our two dogs in for their six-month shots today. We had written on their paperwork for them not to give our dachshund a lepto vaccine. They administered the lepto shot to her anyway without my wife’s authorization and claimed that she did not say anything when they said they would give it to her. We had made it clear at our previous visit for them not to give to her. I called up Dr Bumgarner and chewed her out for it. Lepto shots are dangerous for our dog. RecommendedKind, caring, and involved staff members who care not just for the patients, but for their families as well. They do so much to care for each other and really are a special team who treat you and your pets as family.
We are new clients and they seem to be a great firm but they are terribly slow. I paid the bill vis telephone and ended up waiting 30 minutes for them to bring our cat out to us. Everything else has went well so far and I would recommend them.
Terrible experience-Called week before to get an animal appointment the next Monday. Office called Monday AM to cancel appointment and reschedule for Tuesday. I called at 1:00 to make sure and office said come on-Drove 45 minutes from Wilkes and rearranged work schedule to be told doctor couldn’t see us when we arrived and would have to reschedule for next afternoon. We decided to take out new Yorkie to this location because it’s less than 5 minutes from home and we’ve heard great reviews. Due to the pandemic we’ve never been able to walk our puppy inside we have to hand him off and wait on the vet to call us with his results. At first I was very disappointed and worried but this team of professionals makes every visit as easy and keeps you involved in every way. I highly recommend this location to any pet owner.
Best Veterinary Practice around ❤️ - our Senior Daisy (13) had some major dental issues and the did a fabulous job cleaning and removing all the bad teeth. She is home and doing great. Thank you all Conover Vet.

they were very good with CuJoe and nice friendly staff
I called to make an appointment and the staff was so friendly and helpful over the phone. We are new to the area and they fit us in even though they were booked. They gave my dog great care. My dog is a nervous rescue and she was so comfortable with them. I had such a great experience with them. The communication was great and even with the covid protocol the experience was seamless. Thank you!
