cono builder took our deposit of two thousand dollars when our home did not sell as a penalty even though our offer was conditional upon our house selling before we could buy a house he has had on the market for several years. We are a retired couple my husband is recovering from a stroke and is partially paralized . what reputable buisness man do something so unfair to anyone .
We entered into a conditional offer on one of the builders new houses. It was conditional on our home selling . Our home did not sell within the time frame of the offer so we were unable to complete the sale at that time. The builder who I trusted kept our two thousand dollar deposit a penalty I guess for our home not selling . We are a retired couple who can not afford to loose any money especially since my husband is disabled.
